Admission Policy

DPS A-Level, campus opens its doors to all young ladies who have completed their O level and are aspiring for higher Secondary Education that creates equal opportunities for them at all professional level universities.
Admission is awarded strictly on first come first basis.
Early Bird Package For DPS Students Only:
1. Admission from 15th November 2019 to 31st January 2020
    No Admission fee charged.

2. Admission from 01st February to 30th June 2020
    50% waiver on admission fee only.
Please Note:
All DPS Students applying for admission on July 01, 2020 and onwards will pay Full admission fee. 

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Admission for your daughter/ ward to the Advanced Level classes will be given under the following conditions:

  • An applicant should have appeared in at least 8 subjects in the CAIE O Level Examinations.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared all subjects in the first attempt of their CAIE ‘O’ Level Examinations.
  • Grade “A” or “B” in the English Language Paper CAIE ‘O’ Level Examinations is compulsory.
  • The minimum acceptable O level grade in any subject of choice in the A Level programme is a “B” in the corresponding O level subject.
  • Student accompanied by their parents must meet the Principal on the specified date and time prescribed for the interview.
  • Parents will be required to meet the Principal or her nominee at least twice  a year when they accompany their daughter / ward to collect her internal test and school examination result, usually, in Nov and April of the academic year.
  • The Principal can also be met on other days by appointment.

Scholarship Policy

  • DPS as well as non DPS students with outstanding performance in the CAIE O Level examination are eligible for scholarship on their monthly tuition fee for the first year only in A Level. Scholarship will be awarded on first come first basis.
  • In order to continue to avail this scholarship in the second year of the A Level programme (August – July), students must achieve straight A grades in at least three optional subjects in their May/June AS Level CAIE Examination.

Note:
No certificate of recommendation/ NOC will be issued to any student before the completion of her second year A2 CAIE examination.
