To start Session 2019-20 with a renewed pledge towards academic excellence and a rejuvenation of teaching spirit, the Management of Dawood Public School organized a two-days INSET (In-house training program for teachers).

Workshops were conducted in two sessions during working hours in the days leading up to formal school opening. A first session from 8:30 am to 11:15 am followed by the second session from 11:30 am to 1: 00 pm.

Each session focused on adapting techniques and was carefully developed to enhance effective learning strategies, based on the vision and pedagogical practices of renowned philosophers and scholars in the field of education. The first half of the day was to ingrain and revive a broad understanding of concepts and ideologies of education. During the second half, five workshops at five different venues were held simultaneously; some of them targeted to deal with the cognitive and emotional needs of the students, whereas others focused on time management, teaching techniques, and collaborative learning tools.

INSET-2019 was organized with a primary focus on providing the DPS teaching faculty an opportunity to learn new and innovative methods for 21st-century classrooms that would enable them to instruct and motivate students in the best possible manner for the best possible outcome.
