Subject: Practice Assessment
Dear Students,
We are extremely proud of the several challenges you have overcome during this pandemic, and can understand how difficult everything must’ve been, but your resilience and dedication will surely lead to successes in the future.
As we near the formal Mid-Year assessments, it’s time to run a trial to give you practice for the process. And we’re sure that you will once again succeed achieving yet another milestone.
On Wednesday 2nd December, all students of Grades IX, X and XI will take online assessments as a practice. Invitations have been sent to you via Exam Cell. Please join your Exam Room at 8:50 a.m. sharp. You will first be guided regarding uploading your assessments as PDF documents using CamScanner. Once done, you will leave the room and rejoin for the practice paper at 9:20 a.m. Scheduled practice assessments will be for subjects as highlighted below:
IX – English
X – Urdu
XI – Mathematics
Please note that this practice session is not marked and is being carried out to give you a practice of following assessment protocols. The practice paper will be conducted with the same seriousness as will be the main assessments beginning 7th December. You must follow the instructions carefully, so please review the assessment policy sent earlier on November 24, via circular Ref.No:STD/AC/20/81.
You will receive an invite from the Exam Cell for joining Google Classrooms; one exam room is made specifically for all compulsory subjects with additional ones for optionals. The compulsory subjects include: Math, English, Urdu, History, Geography and Islamiat. The rest of the subjects are considered optionals and a separate invite will be sent for each. Join these rooms as and when you receive the invite.
Please note that on December 2, 2020 you will have 1st period teaching period following which will be the practice assessment. Regular classes will resume from 4th period i.e. 10:20 a.m. as per timetable.
