Subject: Practice Assessment for VI to VIII
Dear Parents and Students,
We are extremely proud of the several challenges you have overcome during this pandemic, and can understand how difficult everything must have been, but your resilience and dedication have helped us become strong as a team of teachers and students and we believe we can move forward together with the same united front.
After the successful trial run for your seniors in O Level Classes today, it’s time to give you an opportunity for the same practice, so that you can experience the process before the Mid-Year Assessments.
This practice trial will be conducted on Friday 4th December for all students of Grades VI, VII and VIII. Invitations have been sent to you via Exam Cell. Please join your Exam Room on Friday at 8:50 a.m. sharp. You will first be guided regarding uploading your assessments as PDF documents using CamScanner. Once done, you will leave the room and rejoin for the practice paper at 9:20 a.m. Scheduled practice assessments will be for subjects as highlighted below:
VI – Geography
VII – Islamiat
VIII – Science
Please note that this practice session is not marked and is being carried out to give you experience. However, the practice paper will be conducted with the same seriousness as will be the main assessments beginning 14th December. You must follow the instructions carefully, so please review the assessment policy sent earlier on November 24, via circular Ref.No:STD/AC/20/81.
One Exam Room is made specifically for all your subjects with one invigilator supporting you for all your papers. If you are not in the class which is mentioned on the invitation, please note that some shuffling has been done for the purpose of upholding exam discipline.
In light of the practice, you will take your 1st teaching period following which will be the practice assessment. Regular classes will resume from 4th period, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. instead. The remaining day will follow the scheduled timetable.
As always, we are here to help and will support you for technical assistance wherever required.
Best wishes for all of you.
Regards,
Sharmeen Hussain
Head of Secondary Section.
