Subject: Practice Assessment for Class V
Dear Parents and Students,
We are extremely proud of the several challenges you have overcome during this pandemic, and can understand how difficult everything must have been, but your resilience and dedication have helped us become strong as a team of teachers and students and we believe we can move forward together with the same united front.
After a successful trial run for the O Level Classes at the Secondary Section today, it’s time to give you an opportunity for the same practice, so that you can experience the process before the Mid-Year Assessments.
This practice trial will be conducted on Friday 4th December for all students of Grades V. Invitations will be sent to you via Exam Cell. The Exam Room must be joined on Friday at 8:50 a.m. sharp. Students will first be guided regarding uploading assessments as PDF documents using CamScanner. Once done, the Exam Room must be left and then rejoined for the practice paper at 9:20 a.m. The scheduled practice assessment will be for History.
Please note that this practice session is not marked and is being carried out for experience. However, the practice paper will be conducted with the same seriousness as will be the main assessments beginning 14th December. Instructions need to be carefully followed, so we request parents to help students review the assessment policy sent earlier on November 24, via circular Ref.No:STD/AC/20/81.
One Exam Room is made specifically for all subjects with one invigilator supporting students for all papers. Please note that some shuffling has been done for the purpose of upholding exam discipline, so students may receive invitations to classes different than their own.
In light of the practice, the 1st teaching period will be followed by the practice assessment. Regular classes will resume from 4th period, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. instead. The remaining day will follow the scheduled timetable.
As always, we are here to help and will support you for technical assistance wherever required.
Best wishes for all students.
Regards,
Seemi Amir
Head of Primary Section.
