DPS Summer Camp

Three weeks of fun, laughter, joy and learning came to cumulative end on 13th July, 2017. With a plethora of fortunate students (age group  5 to 12 yrs) from Rahat-e-Islamia School (adopted by TDF), Khatoon-e-Pakistan, 7 more schools under the Sindh Educational Foundation and children of the supportive staff of DPS participated in the Summer Camp at Dawood Public School organized under the patronage of The Dawood Foundation.

The Dawood Foundation sought to equip them with diverse skills and knowledge which would undoubtedly leave an impact for a life time. From gardening, to robotics, creative writing to creating arts and crafts, learning the notes of music to tackling math problems, learning yoga and computers the diversity of activities on the menu invigorated the intellect and piqued the curiosity of these amazing children. An entire day was dedicated to frolicking in water on the ‘Splash Day’- the highlight of the event.

The entire team that made it possible was given a tremendous applause in the closing ceremony, with a few tears shed by the students. TDF hopes to continue to bring such opportunities to children from all backgrounds in the future too.
