Dawood Public School students visited The Agha Khan University Hospital to distribute gifts among the underprivileged little fighters undergoing honorary treatment at the Pediatrics ward. After having participated in the first leg of this social service by the AKUH Pediatrics Society, where DPS students collected a sizeable amount of funds as a humble contribution to this great cause, the students were filled with gratitude for being provided with the opportunity to cultivate happiness and bring smiles to the shining faces of their age-fellows who have not been as fortunate with their health.

While at the AKUH campus, the students were accompanied by Senior Neurosurgeon Dr. Aneela Darbar and her team. Each student was awarded an opportunity to distribute a teddy bear each to the ailing children, often in a flood of overwhelming emotions at the challenges the young patients were striving to overcome.
DPS is grateful to the management of AKUH for being so hospitable and welcoming towards the staff and students and feel honoured to have played a role in spreading some smiles and happiness.
