Subject: Monthly Tests

Dear Parents,

We hope that you and your families are safe and in good health.

We appreciate the efforts of parents and students at the completion of the first month of on-line classes in Session 2020-21 and look forward to our phasing-in process, subject to government directives.

The month of September is scheduled for the first assessment of the session. You are advised to ensure your child’s attendance during the prescribed time period so as to avoid her absence in the assessment. As per previous practice, these tests will not be retaken.

Grade II -IX:

Unannounced virtual concept reviews will be taken from 21st to 30th of September. These reviews will carry 10 marks (each subject) and will be conducted during the virtual class time of the subjects, as per the class timetables on any day. 5 marks will be allotted to any one homework/classwork assignment selected at teacher’s discretion.

In October, three unannounced tests of 10 marks each, will be taken during regular subject period as concept review and 2 homework/classwork assignment will be marked as well. Two best scored concept reviews and homework’s will be included in the result.

Grade X and XI

Two scheduled monthly tests of appearing subjects will be planned before Mid-Term Exam, one in the month of September and another in the month of October, as per previous practice. Schedule will be shared two days prior to commencement of assessments.

Grade X

Non-appearing subjects will be assessed via concept reviews for 15 marks each during regular subject period. These will be unannounced and taken at teacher’s discretion.

Students of grade XI must appear physically group A and B both (except for those attending virtually) on Friday, 25th September just for English and Mathematics monthly tests. Friday timings will be from 8:00am- 10:30am.

In the current virtual scenario, upholding integrity is the collective responsibility of parents and teachers. We request your continued support in ensuring that students submit their independent work within the subscribed time frame to avoid unnecessary complications.

Looking forward to your continued cooperation.

Stay Safe!
