Dear Students and Parents,
Hope you all are safe and healthy. In the spirit of Ramzan Kareem and keeping our annual tradition alive, we are happy to announce a Naat Competition for the students.
The competition will be held online. Kindly note the following guidelines:
- There are four levels for the competition:
Level 1: Grades IV and V
Level 2: Grades VI and VII
Level 3: Grades VIII and IX
Level 4: Grades X and XI
- Students are invited to participate with a Naat of their choice. Please be advised only to choose a Naat and not a Hamd.
- Students must record videos of their rendition. The recording should be clearly audible for the judges to make their decisions.
- The video recording must begin with the name, class and section of the student.
- The video recording must not exceed two minutes in length (maximum two verses of the chosen naat).
- A link will be posted on each Grade Level Whatsapp group for participants. Kindly note that judges will not respond to any query on the group, it is only for participants to post their video recordings on the dates mentioned below.
- The video recordings posted to the Whatsapp group will be judge by a jury panel and the best three participants will be duly selected.
- Winners will be announced via DPS Facebook page and students will also be informed on the Grade Whatsapp groups.
Kindly note that students must post their video recordings as per aforementioned instructions only on the days allotted to them. These will be reminded via Whatsapp groups one day in advance. Posts on any other day will be disqualified. The competition days are mentioned here for your preparation.
