Subject Orientation Program:

An American author Napoleon Hill has wisely remarked,’ No man can succeed in a line of endeavor which he does not like.’ And it’s very true indeed to be on the right track coupled with an appropriate set of subjects.  Dawood Public School expands the knowledge of its students by arranging a variety of programs that may eventually lead them to a bright future.
A Subject Orientation Program was held on 28th April, 2014 to guide the parents and students of VIII grade in the selection of subjects for the O’ Level examination.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the introduction of subjects that DPS offers for the O’Level examination.  Two optional subjects Food and Nutrition and Art and Design are added this year on the request of students, in the list of subjects offered.
The subject selection forms were distributed among the students sin which the list of compulsory subjects and set of groups were mentioned for the convenience of students and parents. They were directed to select the group according to the student’s interest and potential.
The subject coordinators of each group highlighted the scope, demand, learning strategies and effectiveness of the subject.
Later the queries of the students and parents were resolved by the concerned teachers in the question/ answer session.

In the end the students and parents thanked the school and its devoted faculty for providing such an extensive and supportive guideline which would help them to select the subjects.
