Seerat-Un-Nabi Celebration:

In tradition with its extra-curricular activities Dawood Public School Annual Seerat-Un-Nabi celebration was held on Friday, 15th February 2013. Students and teachers of the Secondary Section attended the celebration. The proceedings began with the recitation and translation of  Quranic verses from Surah Al Ahzab.  After the recitation of the Quranic verses, the students of Class VIII-A recited a Hamd.

Providing an equal opportunity to all students to illustrate their love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) each class presented a group to recite a melodious Naat. Students from various classes were chosen to perform solo renditions of Naats as well. Students delivered enlightening speeches, shedding light on the role of Islam in various aspects of our lives ranging from our duties towards our religion and our fellow human beings to the sacrifices that the great men of Islam have presented for this universal religion. The audience presented Salam to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Everyone present at the event sought Allah’s blessings and prayed for the success of our school and specifically prayed for the peace and prosperity of our beloved country.
