Foundation for a Drug free World and People for the Ethical treatment of Animals (PETA) work globally to raise awareness among children and youth regarding consequences of drugs, social issues and animal rights through extra curricular activities.

PETA India in collaboration with the Foundation for Drug Free World organized an Art Competition. The themes of the competition were ‘Me and My Favourite Animal’ and ‘Say No to Animal Abuse’ Students between the ages 6-18 yrs were eligible to participate in the competition. 73 students from our school participated in the competition.  Maryam Ahmed’s entry on the theme ‘Me and my Favourite Animal’ was judged to be the best among all the entries received from 87 schools  across Pakistan. She was awarded a gold medal and a cash prize worth Rs 5000/- by PETA India.
