Play on Mughals:

The history of Mughals was introduced in class VII, to help students understand the role of Mughals in the history of the sub continent, a role play for students of class VII was organized in which all four sections participated. Each section portrayed some important aspects of the lives of the Mughals.
Vii A chose Naseeruddin Humayun and portrayed the attack on the emperor by Sher Shah Suri’bytrayal by his brother and Akber’s kidnapping.
Class VII B and VII D selected Zahiruddin Mohammed Babur and portrayed the battle of Panipat, his stirring speech, his death and Humayun’s succession.
Class VII B and VII D selected Zahiruddin Mohammed Babur and portrayed the battle of Panipat, his stirring speech, his death and Humayun’s succession.VII C selected Jalaluddin Akbar and portrayed his marriage with Jodha Bai, his religion Din-e-Ilahi and his death.
All sections participated in the activity with great enthusiasm. They tried hard to take the audience back to the Mughal era. The seminar room was decorated as the “court of Mughals” and the costumes of the courtiers were colourful and vibrant.

 All sections of class VI were invited to witness these lively performances. This activity can be truly regarded as a good source of edutainment as it provided wholesome package of information and entertainment.
