Aameen Ceremony 2012:

On 14 April 2012, “Rasm-e-Aameen” was held at the Secondary Section of Dawood Public School, to celebrate the completion of “Nazrah” of the Holy Quran by the students of class VIII which they had started in class I. The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Hamd and Naat. A documentary on “Secrets of Quran” was screened which shed light on the revelation of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), the subsequent teachings of Islam and the spread of Islam in Arabia. Later, the students of class VIII recited the last ten surahs of the Holy Quran. The ceremony was attended by the Principal, Incharges of all the sections, teachers of Primary and Secondary Sections and the students of class VIII. Mothers of class VIII students were also invited to attend the ceremony. It was a well organized ceremony and was a success due to the tireless efforts of Quran and Islamiyat teachers (Ms.Uzma, Ms.Asia, Ms.Shireen and Ms.Sanober). Ms.Azfar did the decorations of the entire event and Ms.Kausar performed the duties of announcement for the event. The feat of the students was appreciated by the parents and the efforts of the Quran and Islamiyat teachers were highly commended.
