3rd Inter School Sports Tournament (O and A Levels):

Friday 9th October to Friday 16rd October 2015

Dawood Public School’s four day ‘Inter School Sports Tournament’ commenced from 9th October and ended on 16th October 2015. 32 teams of leading schools of Karachi participated with zeal and enthusiasm in the event. The closing event was as remarkable as the opening. The ceremony commenced with the recitation and translation of the verses of the Holy Quran later the O level Principal welcomed the winning teams. The tournament comprised of Throw ball and Table tennis matches played on league basis and supervised by professional referees from the Throw Ball Federation.  The A and O levels Throw ball teams played exciting matches there was neck to neck competition between the teams each tried to overrule the other and secure glory for their school. The O level throw ball teams of Convent of Jesus and Mary and Haque Academy moved on to the final.  Convent of Jesus and Mary won the match and is the proud winner of the O level schools throw ball teams, the first runner up is Haque Academy and the second runner up is Dawood Public School. The final of the A level Throw ball matches was played between Nixor College and Habib Girls Higher Secondary. Habib Girls Higher Secondary emerged victorious and secured 1st position, the first runner up is Nixor College and the second runner up is The Lyceum School. The Table Tennis matches were as thrilling as the Throw ball matches. The position holders of the O level schools Table Tennis matches  are 1st Head Start School, 2nd Dawood Public School and 3rd Foundation Public School while the winners A level stream are 1st The Lyceum School, 2nd Foundation Public School and 3rd Generation’s School.   Amidst thunderous applause the O level Principal and in charge Secondary Section awarded shield to the Winner teams and trophy to the runner up teams. The members O and A level teams were awarded certificates and medals. Later the A level Principal handed over the shield to the winning team of A level schools and trophy to the runners up.   The closing celebrated the hard work and dedication of the players who played fair and made their best efforts to secure laurels for their school. The ceremony closed on a thank you note by the A level Principal for making the tournament a success.
