Pre Primary and Primary Teacher Training Workshop on Observation and Assessments:

Striving for excellence is the basic norm of Dawood Public School.  The ‘School Improvement Plans’ help us to meet the targets and achieve our goals. We work towards the holistic development of the students and make an effort to integrate various multiple intelligences and learning styles in the curriculum.  It was observed that the transition of students from KG II, to class I was demanding. The reasons were new environment, new teachers, new system etc.  To bridge the gap and promote smooth transition from Pre-Primary to Primary, assessment system is initiated in class I.

The first step to achieve this target was to orient teachers for the same.  A two day workshop, titled “Observation and Assessments” was conducted on June 1 and June 2, 2015 by our School Facilitator Rehana Mohsin Dharsi. The session was co facilitated by Primary Section Incharge Ms.Seemi Aamir and Pre Primary Section Incharge Ms.Nusrat Hilal. The teachers were acquainted to the assessment procedures and record keeping for formative and summative assessments.
