Introductory Meeting Report:

An Introductory Meeting with the parents of the newly admitted students was held on 29th and 30th July, 2015. The objective of the meeting was to acquaint parents and faculty members with each other and also to give them a brief introduction of the school’s program. The meeting of the pre primary section was planned in two sessions to cater to all the parents. The Principal welcomed the parents and the section in charges briefly discussed the school’s program, vision and aim; the importance of parent teacher relationship for the academic success of students; health care and nutrition; attendance, punctuality, discipline, Infrastructure and facilities, fee payment schedule and PAC card distribution.  They also discussed some of the core rules and regulations regarding code of conduct, school timings and about updating the school regarding any change in the student’s bio data; method of communication with parents and requested the parents to check their mail and the school website regularly.

The IT in charge demonstrated the usage of the website and ways of surfing the various sections.

The Manager Co ordination and Public Affairs briefed the parents about the security procedures and strategies.

The faculty members, supervisors and coordinators were introduced. Later the Principal addressed the parents and summarized the points discussed she also requested them to check the website regularly. The Trustee invited the parents to put up any queries they have to the DPS team. The meeting ended with an interactive Q/A session.
