Paying Tribute to APS Martyrs:

The phrase ‘Time Heals’ cannot be justified as we move into the second year of the nightmare of the most horrific and incomprehensible attack in the history of humanity. The terrible carnage at the APS Peshawar that cut short the lives of our promising youth and left their families and the country bereaved.  DPS students pledged their solidarity with the bereaved families and the nation. On 16th December the morning assembly started with a brief tribute to the martyrs of APS Peshawar and a minute’s silence followed by prayers for the departed souls. Students of all sections of DPS expressed their heartfelt emotions.  Little students of classes I and II dressed in the army uniform expressed their gratitude and solidarity with the victims of APS. Others kept flowers, bouquets and lit candles on the stage in their memory. The song ‘Bada Dushman’ played in the background expressing the perpetrators cowardice. The assembly wrapped up with the national anthem.
