Nature Hunt:

Children enjoy nature and are curious to learn about it. As a part of their science lesson and to raise awareness about the study and appreciation of nature; preschool teachers planned a “Nature Walk and Hunt Activity” on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 and Wednesday 26, 2014 for the students of KG I and KG II.
The little ones were taken on a stroll around the school campus to explore their surrounding, observe nature and to see what they could discover.  Students were told to bring empty cans, boxes or paper bags to spy and collect little insects, fallen leaves, flowers, twigs, sand etc. They were also given magnifying glasses through which they saw things with a larger vision.
Teachers helped focus on the sights and sound around them. They identified bird calls and the cloudy sky. Once inside the classrooms they were asked to   show and tell their friends about the things they had collected.  Children enjoyed the walk it was a wonderful experience beyond the classrooms.
