GSP –Orientation Session (Secondary):

 On 26th August 2014, green school program (GSP) orientation session was conducted for secondary section students by World Wildlife Federation (WWF) they introduced the new theme and activities planned by them for the year ahead that would  engage students in activities related to environmental conservation, develop their environmental knowledge, ethics, groom their public speaking skills and create a sense of responsibility.

 Ms Tuba Iqbal and Zain Awan GSP officers gave a detailed presentation describing WWF’s role in environmental conservation and target species. The presentation was also aimed to introduce responsibility, new initiatives such as radio championship and 60 seconds documentary competition. Later a quiz session was conducted in which students participated enthusiastically the winners were awarded prizes.

In the beginning of the orientation session DPS Green Parliamentarians were provided with their badges and an oath ceremony was held.  The Parliamentarians pledged to abide by the GSP rules, work actively for the betterment of the environment, promote green practices via actions, speech and leadership and represent their school.
