Fruits Day:

Fruits Day was organized in the pre primary section with the objective to instill the habit of consuming fruits, enhance childrens’ vocabulary and knowledge about fruits. Morning presentation was conducted by the teacher she discussed about the importance of different fruits their color, type of seeds, taste and texture and that fruits give energy and help us to be active and healthy. Fruit salad was prepared in the classes with the help of the students and was served to all. They relished the refreshing dessert. As a part of the creative art activity they made finger print fruits on paper glasses in which they were given fruit chunks to take home and share with their siblings.
This activity provided an opportunity to the students to taste a variety of fruits for which they had an aversion. They were encouraged by their fellow peers and teachers t to eat all fruits.
