Earth Day:

Earth day is celebrated on April 22nd each year to remind us of our responsibility towards mother Earth.
On 22nd April during the morning assembly students of secondary and primary section gave presentations on the significance of Earth Day. In the pre-primary section teachers discussed the importance of trees and how to curb pollution to save the environment. To show their love and affection towards animals living on Earth, few children came dressed up in animal costumes such as honey bee, rabbit, horse and turtle. Teachers also discussed about water conservation, energy saving and recycling. Students were told about the three Rs i.e. REUSE, RECYCLE and REDUSE, they made turtles using pet bottles, jelly fish using paper plates. Empty Pringles boxes were used to make different articles such as money boxes and pencil holders etc. All students enthusiastically watched a movie titled “Water Conservation”.

The combined efforts of the students and teachers of made this celebration a success.
