Defence Day Celebration:

The Morning Assembly of Dawood Public School on 8th September brought with it a new sense of patriotism and renewed in the hearts of every person present, love and utmost respect for the Armed Forces of Pakistan who are working relentlessly to keep our country safe.
The display, organized by the Primary section as a tribute to the martyrs of 6th September, started off with the tune of the famous national song, DilDil Pakistan, filling the hearts of everyone with a feeling that cannot be described in words. What made the whole display a complete success was the amazingly organized march past by the young enthusiastic Dawoodians of the Primary Section, dressed as Army, Navy, Air Force and Police Officers of Pakistan. To add to the feeling of patriotism, Fizza Fatima IX SH stepped up on stage and got the whole audience in a fixed trance of emotions and awe by singing in her melodious voice the inspiring song of Madam Noor Jehan, Aye Watan Kai Sajeelay Jawanon. By the end of the display, there was not a single person who did not feel touched and had a new sense of admiration for all the brave men of Pakistan Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives to protect our country and make it a safer place for us to live in.
