Childrens’ Day:

Childrens’ Day is observed as an annual event across the world on 20thNovember.  It was dedicated to children in 1954. This day celebrates childhood and promotes awareness about child rights and emphasizes the fact that children need love and respect to grow to their full potential. It reflects the recognition that children are important and valued members of society.
Universal Childrens’ Day was celebrated in the Pre-Primary section on Thursday, November 20th, 2014.
Various art, creative work, creative writing and recitation of rhymes were planned according to the theme, KG II students wrote an essay on children’s day. The little ones enjoyed singing songs and reciting rhymes. The motive of planning these activities was to encourage learning and to provide entertainment.
Teachers distributed sweets packs as take home gift. Children were delighted and enjoyed this day.
