Assessment Meeting Report:

The Assessment meeting was held on 27th July 2015 with parents of class I students. The objective of the meeting was to familiarize them with the purpose and procedure of the assessment system which is being introduced to promote smooth transition of students from preprimary to primary. Students of class 1 face problems adjusting to the new physical and academic environment.  The Principal compared the previous teaching methodology with the newly devised teaching technique in which the class teacher will be teaching four subjects (English, Math, Science and GK) and will be assisted by a co teacher this will facilitate individual attention to students. To create the pre -primary environment impact the classes are attractively painted. Parents were informed that the strenuous and lengthy examination procedure has been replaced with assessment system which is devised on the pre-primary pattern. After the completion of a lesson students will be assessed through work sheets, quizzes, reading and dictation. Students will be observed and there progress will be maintained on the Class Progress Chart. Bi monthly progress report will be shared with parents. Later the primary in charge introduced the team of class 1 teachers.
Parents appreciated the efforts of the management and hoped the improvised system would prove beneficial for the children and create a positive impact on their studies.
The Principal thanked the parents and requested them to cooperate with the management.
