Adopted School Workshop:

Dawood Public School strives to go an extra mile and serve the community. To improve the standard of PECHS Government School, DPS is working towards its physical environment the academics.
To educate and train teachers for an interactive child centred classroom, DPS organized a workshop for the teachers titled “Making Learning Fun for Young Learners” on 14th April 2016, conducted by DPS Resource Person, Rehana Mohsin Dharsi. Approximately 35-40 teachers from different government schools participated in the session.
The workshop aimed at developing teachers’ skills, knowledge and attitude to create and organize an active learning environment for children and also to enable them prepare teaching aids using recycled material.
The session commenced with various icebreaking and warm up activities that were enjoyed by one and all.  The role play on the topic senses was thrilling. Moving around the stations and exploring different materials gave the teachers an exposure to experiential learning. The participants had hands on experience working with the teaching aids prepared by recycled material. They could actually relate the learning material with the curriculum and were excited to use the same in the classroom with the children. The most exciting part of the session was the action nursery rhyme which energized everyone right till the end of the session.
